Are an advance ticket purchase to the 4 Crown Nationals recommended or would we be able to buy them the day of the race? Hate to drive all that way and not be able to get in.

You shouldn't have a problem getting tickets. There were a lot of seats open last year when I went, especially General Admission. There was even some camping open too.
What is the difference between the Bleacher Seating and the Grandstand seating? Any advice for 1st timers going to World 100 in October?

My advice for a first timer is to bring goggles to keep the dirt out of your eyes, especially if you sit near the front in the Grandstand. They are affordable and available at the track.

We stayed at the Best Western in Wapakoneta. Its excellent and only 30 minutes away. There are no hotels close to El Dora. There is a town name Celina which you also drive thru on the way to El Dora and they have a small Inn called West Bank Inn. You may want to check with them as well. Otherwise, Best Western was excellent and we highly recommend it.
