This is one of the deepest blue holes ever. It is bordered by stunning cliffs and a beautiful beach. We saw some fish and a lazy sea turtle. The only drawback is the trash. There was so much junk on … Lisa W的完整评论

Is it easy to get reliable transportation to Dean’s Blue Hole? Our cruise offers a package but we thought it might be better to just get transportation on our own. Definitely don’t want to get stranded though.

Please look at a map and see that Freeport is a very long way from southern Long Island. The Blue Hole looks like dark blue water. Unless you are a free diver, it's just water and a small, nothing special beach. The novelty is that you can dive in from the edge of the hole and the water is deep near the edge or jump off of the cliff into the hole. This is not a practical place to visit from Freeport.
