Honestly it might be pretty boring for the child. The gallery is a moderate sized space and usually very quite due to the mass availability of audio tours. It is a rotating attraction and currently Picasso is on display, though most of the work is his less widespread stuff. Mandalay Bay Shark Reef might be a better speed for a child.

My husband and I spent about 1 hour looking and the two others in our party took 1 1/2 hours. It was dimly lit inside so I struggled to read all of the tiny writing on the displays and they also have lite humidity control units all over the place (so my hair looked awful!).
