The pier is unexpectedly long and the whole park tranquil, relaxing and soothing. Short trail is perfect for an evening walk. Playground, grills and picnic tables. podrozniczka60的完整评论

You have to call whomever or what agency is the host for the talk in order to make a reservation. The park itself is an area on the south side of Charlotte Harbor, just south of the bridge between Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte. It is an outdoor open air park with several components and as I am not in Florida right now I am not sure of the hosting agency. (If it is an indoor event, please know that there are some indoor meeting and conference rooms in the several buildings on site.)
Is there a place to put a kayak in? Is it flat water? Any current? Closest place to rent a kayak?

Yes there is a launch area. I do not know of any rental place near there. You might go to 'Fishermans Village' on the other side of the harbor. They do rentals.
