Beautiful fall colors with red, green, yellow, and orange leaves. We purchased a week long pass, for $35 I believe. This gets you into the park. The park has some really nice trails, we went under… jdneedler04的完整评论

The title says it all. It is all downhill from the wonderful past of few people and no restrictions. You need reservations now for sections (Cadillac Mtn) and the roads and visitor center are jammed … Hooked_on_travel77的完整评论

It says you need a car pass to go on the sunrise view on Cadillac Mtn., until Oct 22. We are going to be there from Oct 25 to 28th. Can we still go? Do we need a pass? Thanks

The park website will have accurate and current information and I would check that.
Family will be driving an RV up to Acadia next month and are staying at various campgrounds. I see that not many places offer RV parking, however NPS told me that there is 1 or 2 RV parking spots at Sand Beach. Can anyone confirm? It seems like Sand beach (for little beehive hikes, etc) and the Bass Head Harbor lighthouse are the hardest to park near from an RV. Getting there early isn't an issue, but just need to know where to go? Can anyone advise? Thanks!

If you arrive after Labor Day you may have a better chance at getting parking, depending on the size of your RV. As soon as the sun comes up is the best time to drive around the park and get parking, especially at Sand Beach. Bass Harbor parking at the lighthouse is crazy. The lot is too small and it would be difficult in an RV.
Planning a trip to Acadia in August. Need suggestions for where to fly in to, and ideas for itinerary and lodging. It’s my husband and me, we like hiking, kayaking, biking etc. Not into huge crowded areas.
